Bright Start Maternity Program

Healthy DC Plan does not cover pregnancy services, but the AmeriHealth Caritas DC Bright Start^® and Healthy DC Plan team will help AmeriHealth Caritas DC Healthy DC Plan enrollees transition their coverage to AmeriHealth Caritas DC Medicaid coverage. Healthy DC Plan enrollees should contact AmeriHealth Caritas DC Bright Start (1-877-759-6883) and Healthy DC Plan (1-833-432-7526/TTY 711) when they learn they are pregnant for assistance with this transition.
